Mississippi Public Broadcasting wants to know what you think about the upcoming Ken Burns movie, The War.
This blog will give you a chance to discuss the program as well as the upcoming The War themed editions of Writers and Mississippi Roads. MPB is also proud to be bringing you a new program, The Mississippi Experience - The War, debuting on September 25th . Through The Mississippian blog, we want to hear the voice of Mississippians and the thoughts and memories Mississippians have from the era. Also visit The War site on www.mpbonline.org. There you can submit your WW II stories and memories and share them nationally through PBS. You can write your story and send it to them electronically, or you can phone in your story to a 1-800 number and they'll post it for you.
We also have a photo gallery set up so you can send your WWII era photos to MPB and we'll put them on our site to highlight the role Mississippians played during The War.
